| This is NBA Jam at its best. If you loved NBA Jam, this is the game for you. Good graphics, create-a-player, multiplayer, high speed, and just all-out fun. In create-a-player, you can choose many faces, including about half of the mascots. The only thing is, its a little too much like NBA Jam. But it doesn't matter, buy it. |
this game is cool

NBA SHOWTIME IS A COOL GAMe! if you like basketball on n64 get this one! it's fun. shaquille o'neal is on the cover of this game also on nba hoopz. this game is from the 1998-99 season. my favorite player is ray allen from milwaukee bucks. good 3-pointer, makes more than 50% of his 3-pts in this game. if you are home or away and you choose ray allen go on the left or right side between the 3-pt line and the crowd and he will shoot it good. he will not make every time. if you get 2 or 3 in a row, his 3-pt shoots will be on fire. there are also shaq, kobe, kevin garrett, muggsy bogus, charles barkley, larry johnson, patrick ewing and other good/ok players. that's why i rated it 5/5. |

| I know that when you start playing it seems unrealistic because every shot drops, and even John Stockton can jump higher than the rim, but thats the fun of it! Its just a fun game. Just like NBA Jam that came out a while back on SNES, this game is hard to put down. The only thing I really don't like is that the other team is pretty much unstoppable and they dunk all the time. But I did like the NBC music and real looking score board. So don't listen to these so called "gamers" who want a "real" game but are too lazy to go outside and play one. Video games are supposed to be unrealistic! |

| When my cousin's PSX went bust and we couldn't play NBA Live 2000, we were stuck playing Showtime. When I first played it I hated it. "Oh this is so unrealistic!" But I was wrong. Once I started playing against my cousin. It got exciting ,competitive, and all out fun. It's very unrealistic. But still a great game! |
