Excellent Shoe   Review Date: November 18, 2004 Reviewer: , These shoes are great. They are very comfortable, and they fit perfectly. They are quite stylish too. They are primarily indoor soccer shoes, but they also work great on artificial turf, so you could use them for just about anything. For soccer, the power and control for kicks and punts is excellent, but it's a tiny bit sacrified because there's no lace guard. The "Samba K" does have a lace guard, but even if it's sacrificed a little bit for the Millennium, you shouldn't really worry about it that much. I use them to play sports for fun, competitively, or for just walking around. For example, I wear them when I have baseball practice indoors, or when I have basketball practice. The shoe works great for both. I almost never slip or slide. They grip very well on the ground. It has Adidas's special "TorSion" system. I don't know what that means exactly but I know that it helps. The only part that you should worry about is that the white stripes along the sides can get dirty easily, but you shouldn't have too much trouble washing it at all. Also this sounds really stupid, but if you wear colored socks that are pulled up high, they actually look OK, unlike other shoes where it looks ugly, but that doesn't matter at all. Anyway, this shoe is a great shoe overall and I would recommend it to anyone. The shoe makes a great casual shoe and is comfortable for indoor soccer as well. The sole wears a little quickly, but as long as it isn't used on abrasive surfaces, it is great. They take a little while to wear in, but once broken in are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I have to get a size large or they are too small, however. However these shoes are made almost entirely of genuine leather. So I knew they'd soften up overtime. They are VERY fitting shoes with you adjust to them and kind of mold to your foot somewhat. These shoes are very lightweight and hardly seem like they're there. I wear these for casual everyday use and I found them to be wonderful shoes for Salsa dancing. Note the rubber isn't always the best when doing spins however my pair seem to do pretty well. All in all I find these to be some of the best shoes I've purchased in quite sometime. One thing I should mention is these shoes are lightweight for a reason. They have a very thin layer. Pretty much no insulation and provide minimal warmth when out in cold weather. Another note for everyone is these practically are an all leather shoe so in the summer time its easy to sweat inside them. All these are little things I can deal with just fine.
