I considered spending a bit more because I literally wore a hole in my $12 Old Navy thongs from last year. There is no comparison in quality or comfort. The Clarks are real quality. Leather and rubber layers that have been extremely durable over the last month of near constant wear. I'm predicting these will last at least 2-3 years.
