Impressions after 1 week:
I spent quite a bit of time looking for a watch that has all the features I wanted, and this fit the bill perfectly. I wanted analog + digital so I could have all the "nerdy" features I was after without looking like I'm wearing a "nerd" watch - something that would look as good at a formal dinner party as it would at the beach. I especially like the low-profile buttons on this watch (which work just fine despite their size).
Nuts and bolts: this Casio has 3 alarms (1 snooze), day/date calendar, dual time, multi-lap stopwatch, and most important to me, a countdown timer (why every digital watch doesn't have one in this day and age is beyond me). Note also that there is a digital sweep-second indicator that fills the little "windows" that surround the circumference of the dial. The illumination is of the "indiglo" variety and works great.
I think this watch looks very elegant and it seems to be well made - it has a solid, dependable feel. I really like the cobalt-blue dial (note that you can also get this watch with a white or black dial). The bracelet seems sturdy and well-made and it's comfortable on my wrist. It is not obscenely thick like some of the Casio G-Shock watches that look like you're wearing a small laptop computer on your wrist - nicely proportioned in thickness vs diameter.
Cons - the digital sweep second indicator is really too small and hard to see to be of much use except in the brightest light. The two LCD windows are a bit small if your eyesight is fading (but perfectly fine to my 46-year-old eyes). Note that these LCD windows are behind the analog hands so they will be obscured during certain times of the day, but then again, how often do you have to look up the day/date in a normal day?
Overall, two thumbs way up - I am completely satisfied. Far and away the best watch I found at this price, and I spent weeks looking at Amazon's offerings from Casio, Timex, Citizen, Pulsar, Fossil, and others. |

| This watch is amazing for the price I paid. Its very handsome and has a wide array of features. Its very light weight compared to my old ana-digi watch. If anyone was wondering, the dial is a metallic blue instead of a dull blue, and it looks great. The only cons I can see about this watch is that the button positions are different than my old watch and the free super saver shipping was really slow (ordered on the 31st and got it on the 9th). Great watch, great buy. |

| I have had this watch about 2 months now and also have some atomic watches and this thing is dead on correct time. Like all the features and use them all. I wish the dial was a litlee lighter blue as it look black unless you hold it just right. Is acually deep purple than blue. Wouls buy again for looks, funtionality and price. |

My purchasing of this watch was to essentially change long term habit by constant rememberance of a particular idea every hour then every 30 mins then every 15 mins in a standard way. The hourly signal beep helped me and the lap counter of 60 is sufficient for 15 hrs with 15 mins interval pratice making this watch suitable. Recall function allowed me to put exact times of day i remembered and create visual graph
A sample graph i have put down at

The display is dark blue which i love as its the color of my God Krishna.
To develop a habit, we need to change the value system of the brain which needs to be fed a particular idea in a constant interval over a period of time. This is a known way of changing habits in very small measure over a large period of time. for more details mail me at [...] |
Great bang for the buck!!!

| This watch was easy to set-up and use. It also looked much better than I expected for a watch in this price range. |
Good Value

A nice watch with all the features that most watches of this type have. It's a little thinner than others I have had so it's more comfortable to wear.
One weak point is that the crystal is made of a softer plastic than most so you have to be careful not to scratch it.
I've only had it for a couple of months so time will tell how it fares in the durability department. |
Ok watch, poor band

Watch is ok, it was what I expected. The zoom viewing on Amazon helps to make a good choice online for a small product such as a watch. Where this product really didn't meet expectations was the band. The quality of the band is very cheap. The screws that you remove to adjust the length were so bad that I was not able to remove a link. The manual that came with the watch did not have instructions for adjusting the band and I could not find any.
Also, I have begun receiving spam to my email since I ordered this watch. |
Its ok

| It's okay. I like the styling. But I wish that the color of the hands was more of a contrast to the number markers. Sometimes it is hard to find the hands on the dial. And the digitial numbers are pretty small, I guess because of space constraints. It is fine during the day, but if you try to read the watch in the dark, it is pretty difficult. I may end up going back to using my timex expedition. |
